Default Order was given at Donegal District Court held at Ballyshannon Courthouse
A Co Sligo resident was fined by a default order at Donegal District Court for unlawful possession of Cannabis.
Thamsanqa Moyo, 28, of 41 Avena, Ballisodare, Co Sligo, did not attend the hearing at Ballyshannon Courthouse, and was subsequently given a default order fine of €150 with five months to pay by Judge Éiteáin Cunningham.

Moyo was charged with having unlawfully in his possession a controlled drug, to wit, namely Cannabis, on May 21, 2024, at Drumrat, Donegal Town, contrary to Section 3 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977 and Contrary to 27 (1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1977 as substituted by Section 6 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1984.
