The Mount Errigal Hotel had granted landowner’s consent for Tesla Motors Ireland to apply for planning permission and to develop the electric charging hub on its land.
Donegal County Council granted permission for the proposals with three conditions, including a condition that “car parking shall be appropriately marked with thermoplastic road marking materials designating parking bays, distinguishing disabled parking bays, circulation lanes and areas to be kept clear of parking,” in the interests of traffic safety.
