Planning application submitted for Letterkenny development
Planning permission has been sought from Donegal County Council for the construction of 18 apartments in Letterkenny.
CR Renaissance Properties Ltd has applied for the construction of three three-storey apartment blocks, each containing six own-door, two-bed apartments, totalling 18 apartment units, and associated site works.
The development will be accessed via Meadow Hill, through the existing Cnoc Móinéir housing estate.
This planning application acts as a ‘Phase 4’ continuation of a previous application, which permitted a total of 46 dwellings at the site in the townland of Kiltoy.

Michael Friel Architects & Surveyors Ltd, writing on behalf of CR Renaissance Properties Ltd, stated: “To keep the cohesiveness of the development, the proposed buildings occupy a
similar footprint and building height, however, the internal layouts have been adapted to house six own-door apartments, rather than the Duplex & apartment units provided in the above referenced.”
Donegal County Council has set a decision due date of March 31, 2026, for the submitted application.
