Airbnb winning hosts Peter Higgins and Anna Caples
A Donegal couple has received an award from Airbnb for their Fintown-based accommodation.
Husband and wife team, Peter Higgins and Anna Caples, won the Best Design Stay at the Airbnb Host Spotlight Awards for their cosy cabin stay, The Hide, which includes breathtaking views of Glenveagh National Park.
A statement from Airbnb read “The Airbnb Host Spotlight Awards recognise Irish hosts for the outstanding experiences they create for guests and the positive contribution they make to their local communities.”
According to The Hide’s listing on Airbnb, “The cabin is a cosy, self-contained space, designed and made… to make the most of our beautiful mountain views.
“We have both enjoyed decorating the space with as many handcrafted, reclaimed and up-cycled items as possible.”
