Thousands expected in Rossnowlagh on July 11
The Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland has announced this year’s date for Rossnowlagh’s July 12th demonstrations.
This year’s Orange Order parade is to take place on Saturday, July 11. The parade traditionally occurs on the last Saturday before the main Twelfth of July parades and is the only such parade in the Republic of Ireland.
Upwards of 50 lodges, including many from across Donegal, will be joined by visiting lodges from Northern Ireland.
The Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland also announced 18 other Ulster venues, including nearby Castlederg.

“Our Twelfth of July celebrations are an annual highlight for our members and the wider Orange family,” said the Grand Master, Most Wor. Bro. Harold Henning.
“The tradition of Twelfth processions stretches back 230 years and are very much a focal point for local communities to come together and commemorate the important historical events which shaped our society.”
