The magnificent eight pupils of Letterkenny Educate Together National School made history in recently at the schools' cross country championships at Finn Valley recently.
Declan Doherty, Karl Friel, Osas Braines and Tadgh Morgan (back row) competed in the under-13 boys race, while Carl Doherty, Oluwafemi Efuwape, Patryk Pieszynski and Odhran Kelly competed in the under-11 boys race, with both teams capturing gold. The boys managed to win best small/medium school in both the under-13 and under-11 races. Letterkenny Educate Together National School are now competing at county level in soccer, GAA and athletics. The sport in the school is growing each year and it's great to see all the hard work starting to pay off.
