Waterworld in Bundoran has has retained its White Flag Award for quality.
The White Flag National Quality Standard Gold Award was presented to Waterworld Duty Managers Noreen Sweeney and Tom Losey at a recent ceremony in the Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone.
DCC chief executive Seamus Neely expressed delight, saying “The White Flag National Quality Standard is the most sought after accolade in the leisure and fitness industry. He congratulated General Manager Anderson Keys and the team for “another job well done”.
Mr Keys said, “We are thrilled that, after another busy season, we have been awarded the White Flag to gold standard once again for Waterworld. We pride ourselves on this achievement and work hard each year to ensure that our facility maintains its high standards so that all of our visitors can have an enjoyable, and importantly, safe visit to Waterworld and Seaweed Baths facility.”
He thanked the staff for making the award possible and the directors for recognising the value of the award.
