Dungloe currently has vacant old housing stock of five units with a mixture of apartments and houses.
The five are at various stages of being brought back to occupancy
The are a one bed apartment at 30 Ard Chróine and a three bed house at 17 Ard Mór which are currently being refurbished.
There are two one bed apartments 2 and 3 St Peter's Terrace on which quotations have been received. It is hoped refurbishment work on these will get underway shortly.
Quotations have also been received for the refurbishment of number 1 Gweedore Road, a four bedroom house.
It is also hoped this house will also advance to the refurbishment stage in the near future.
There are currently 37 people on the housing list for Dungloe. The total on the housing list for the Glenties Municipal area is 90.
