Sarah Jessica Parker gets poetic about her love for Donegal

SJP's picture of the beautiful coastline near Kilcar

Spotted here and there across Donegal while back on holidays again, regular visitor, actress Sarah Jessica Parker and actor husband Matthew Broderick and their family, have had a great time here with SJP getting poetic about what she loves about the place and the people.

They have a holiday home in south west Donegal and over the years they have become so familiar to many that they come and go without a bother, with shopping runs to Donegal town, a trip to Ardara show and a stop or two at Baskin's in Dunkineely for chips among the things they seem to enjoy.

Posting a picture of the spectacular coastline in Kilcar on Instagram, she wrote about "sultry and fickle skies", and she's a huge fan of "the most perfect spuds in the world".

The post has had a massive and instant response on social media with thousands reacting positively to her fondness for many of the things we may often take for granted. Here's what she posted, what a lovely way to mark the end of her holiday:

Farewell sultry and fickle skies

Farewell plumes of smokes from chimneys

Farewell ranges emitting the earthy and welcoming smell of turf

Farewell chips and tweed and open smiles

Farewell "marked bags", lamb cutlets and kerrygold

Farewell to the most perfect spuds in all the world. Flowery or waxy. I will miss you most of all
