Main Street, Convoy
Concerns have been raised about the condition of the main street in Convoy and the fact it appeared to be breaking up.
The issue was raised by Cllr Liam Doherty at the recent Lifford-Stranorlar Municipal District meeting.
"The road seems to be breaking up, particularly outside Bonner's Londis shop. It's only a couple of years since it was last tarred. It's getting into bad shape at the moment. Have we any comeback with the contractor who did the job?"
Council engineer, Claire McGeever said they would need to look at his concerns.
"Generally the contractor would have a duty of workmanship if it happens within a year and would have to come back. If it's over a year we will have to take a look at it to see what is involved or maybe what the issues are."
She added she would report back to the councillors on it.
