Jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle and trainer Joseph O'Brien combined for another winner
Dylan Browne McMonagle ended the Galway Festival with a winner on the final day of the meeting.
The Letterkenny man rode Princess Child to victory in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Ahonoora Handicap Premier Handicap.
The 5/1 shot came good late on under a cool ride from the Donegal jockey and won by a length and a quarter from Gleneagle Bay, to the delight of trainer Joseph O’Brien.
The win keeps him four clear at the top of the Irish Flat Jockey Championships, ahead of the returning Colin Keane, who was serving a two-week suspension for overuse of the whip, but bounced back with a winner on Sunday also.
