Patrick McGettigan and Rosie Frith win in Dundalk
Patrick McGettigan got the Bank Holiday weekend off to a good start with a winner in Dundalk on Friday evening.
The Ballyare native backed up the favouritism for 13/8 shot Rosie Frith in the Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Book Now Nursery Handicap for trainer Patrick Magee.
McGettigan and Rosie Frith led from the off in the five furlong race and made all to take an impressive win in his sole win on the night from four rides.
