Luke McAteer was victorious at Dundalk
Donegal jockey Luke McAteer landed a 116/1 treble for trainer David Murnane at Dundalk on Friday night.
The Rathmullan man was on fire, starting off on Aviatrice in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cooley Fillies’ Stakes.
Moving just behind a leading group, McAteer spotted a gap a furlong from home and made his move.
Aviatrice, sent off at 7/2, won by a length from Jancis, staying on well over the last furlong.
In the mile maiden, McAteer steered 12/1 Manton Bay to victory, nosing in by a head from 7/2 shot Grand Premiere.

And the winning streak was completed for the jockey-trainer combination when Tokenomics justified even-money favouritism in the mile handicap, having half-a-length to spare to Diego El Quest, with Colin Keane aboard.
