Donegal jockey Patrick McGettigan
Donegal jockeys Patrick McGettigan and Jamie Orr were in the winners' enclosure at Dundalk on Friday as they claimed a win each.
McGettigan was first past the post in the third race of the Louth meeting, taking the win on Little Empire for trainer Anthony McCann.
The 5/1 shot held on to win the seven furlong race by three quarters of a length from Ribble Emperor in what would be the Ballyare jockey's sole win from his four rides.
His ride on Convincing in the 7.45 didn’t go as well, but it was another great win for Jamie Orr.

A cousin of well established jockeys Oisin and Conor, Jamie took his second career win on Cherry Pink at 14/1 in the one mile and two furlong Apprentice Handicap.
Orr’s first win was also on Cherry Pink last month, and the pair backed it up again for trainer William Durkin as they won by half a length from Ozark Daze.
