Patrick McGettigan in action in Dundalk
Patrick McGettigan and Dylan Browne McMonagle were in the winners enclosure once again in Dundalk on Friday evening.
Ballyare man McGettigan was the first of the Donegal pair to pick up a win, winning on Bucky Larson for Donegal trainer Paul Sweeney.
McGettigan rode the 13/2 shot to the win in the one mile race, just winning by a head from 3/1 shot Ferrybank.
The following race saw Browne McMonagle pick up a win, on 6/5 favourite Seola.
The Letterkenny jockey was on board for trainer Joseph O’Brien, winning by a length and a quarter from 2/1 second favourite Soaring Sun.
It was a second win of the week for Browne McMonagle, also winning on Wednesday on Greek Mythology for the same trainer.
McGettigan also picked up a winner at that same meet, taking the win on 9/1 shot Walhaan for Ciaran Murphy, with Luke McAteer also winning on 2/5 favourite Fox In Flight earlier on the card.
