The Rathmullan jockey was on board 10/3 shot Midnight Dusk in the opening race for trainer Jack Foley.

McAteer had six rides at the Louth racetrack, also picking up a second place for trainer Michael O’Callaghan on 14/1 shot Lady Plimsoil, while Patrick McGettigan was also in action with four rides, but failed to place.
