The incident of criminal damage occurred close to the town’s Castle Bridge

Damage has been caused to a food van parked at a scenic spot popular in Buncrana.

Gardaí in Buncrana say they are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred in the area of the Stone Jug on Castle Avenue close to the town’s Castle Bridge,  on Wednesday, August 27 between 1pm and 4pm.

The pullcord of a generator at a food van parked at that location was cut.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or to anyone with relevant information to contact them in Buncrana on 074-9320540.
