Carndonagh’s Atlanfish was named Seafood Exporter of the Year at the 2025 Export Industry Awards.
The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) announced the winners of the 2025 awards on Friday night.
Atlanfish is a leading Irish processor and exporter of premium cooked shellfish, specialising in ready-to-eat crab products for the retail and food service sectors. Based in Carndonagh, the FSAI-approved facility operates under SFPA control and upholds the highest standards in hygiene, sustainability, and quality assurance. Atlanfish holds BRCGS AA accreditation, a testament to their rigorous Quality Management programme and experienced production team.
Speaking at the Export Industry Awards, Simon McKeever, Chief Executive of the Irish Exporters Association, said: “It is an absolute pleasure to honour Atlanfish with this Award. With 11 high-profile companies winning awards across the 12 categories, this year saw one of the most competitive processes under the theme, “Navigating the Storm: Building Resilience, Adaptability, and Celebrating Success.” The IEA’s annual flagship event, a black-tie Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner with the who’s who of the export industry, professionals, local and international dignitaries in attendance, was moderated by Ken Hughes at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.
