Plans have been unveiled for major development works for a host of new facilities at Gleneely Colts Football Club, located in Glen View Park in Dristernan.
The proposed development was revealed as part of a new planning application submitted to Donegal County Council by Barry Kearney, chairperson of Gleneely Colts FC Sports and Leisure Club on November 5.
The plans will consist of the construction of the new soccer pitch, ball stop netting, floodlighting and security fencing.
The soccer club are also looking to install a community greenway footpath along with all associated site development works.

The planning application which currently has pre-validation status confirm that no Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) license or waste license are required for the project which isn't deemed as a protected structure.
Any submissions or observations relating to the application may be made in writing to the planning authority on payment of the prescribed fee of €20.
This must be carried out within a period of five weeks beginning on the date of receipt by the planning authority of the application.
