Buncrana’s Children’s Charity has invited members of the public to attend its Annual General Meeting, which will take place on Wednesday 21 January at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Hall, Buncrana.
This year’s AGM is particularly special, the charity says, as the organisation celebrates its tenth anniversary, marking a decade of supporting children and families in need across Buncrana and the wider Inishowen area.
“The charity would love to see as many people as possible attend, whether you have been involved in the past, are currently supporting the charity, or are simply interested in learning more about the work being done locally to improve the lives of children,” a spokesperson said.

As Buncrana’s Children’s Charity continues to expand across Inishowen, the organisation is also actively seeking new volunteers of all ages.
“Volunteers are welcome from towns and communities right across Inishowen, and no matter how much or how little time you can give, your support can make a real difference,” the spokesperson said.
“Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. With more people getting involved, we can continue to grow and make a huge difference to the life of a child in need.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM, hear about the charity’s work over the past year, learn about future plans, and find out how to get involved.
“You can make a huge difference to a child’s life,” the spokesperson concluded.
