A charity coffee morning was held in Moville to celebrate International Women’s Day and raise funds for an important local cause.

The event, hosted by the Moville Ladies Walk and Talk Group, took place on Tuesday, March 10, at the Moville and District Family Resource Centre.

Members of the community gathered for the special occasion, which aimed to celebrate women while also supporting those in need locally.

Garda Anne McGreal, from the Buncrana Community Policing Unit, attended and expressed her delight at teaming up with the women of Moville for the celebration.

The morning provided a welcoming space for people to come together, to enjoy home-baked goods and refreshments, and to mark International Women’s Day in a positive and supportive atmosphere.

Organisers highlighted the importance of supporting services such as Lifeline Inishowen, which offers vital assistance and guidance to those experiencing very difficult circumstances.

The Moville event was described as a fantastic success, with a strong turnout from local residents. Organisers and attendees extended their thanks to everyone who came along to contribute to the important fundraising effort.
