Carnagarve Forest is a beautiful setting on the outskirts of Moville.
All roads lead to Moville’s Carnagarve Forest this weekend, as the Inishowen Development Partnership hosts a special community event to mark International Day of Forests.
With a dry and mild forecast expected, organisers say there has never been a better opportunity for people of all ages to get outdoors, explore nature, and appreciate the beauty of the local forest environment.
Taking place this Saturday, March 21, from 1pm-4pm, the free event will feature a keynote talk from forestry consultant Ross Buchanan, alongside bushcraft, music, and family-friendly activities.
Visitors can look forward to informative talks, guided forest walks, insights into local biodiversity, and a range of activities designed to appeal to families and nature enthusiasts alike.

The event also features opportunities to learn more about conservation and sustainable woodland management.
Interest has been strong, with only a limited number of places remaining. Those hoping to attend are encouraged to secure their spot as soon as possible by following the booking link or contacting the organisers directly at meg@inishowen.ie for further information.
