A talented Buncrana school team is preparing to take to the national stage after securing a place in the grand finals of the Credit Union School Quiz 2026, set to take place in Dublin next week.
Scoil Iosagain will represent Inishowen Credit Union at the prestigious event on Sunday, April 19 after an impressive run through the earlier rounds of the competition.
The team first claimed victory at the local stage, which was held at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel in Buncrana, finishing in first place against strong competition.
Building on that success, they progressed to the next round where they competed against other qualifying teams from across Donegal. Their strong performance once again saw them come out on top, earning a coveted spot in the national final.
The final will take place at the RDS in Dublin on April 19, where 116 teams from across the country are expected to compete. The event is one of the highlights of the Credit Union calendar and brings together some of the brightest young minds from schools nationwide.
