Children aged 7 to 12 invited to audition at St Mary’s Hall on September 5

The Buncrana Pantomime Society is now turning its attention to the younger members of the community as it searches for children to take part in its upcoming production of ‘Robinson Crusoe’.

The Society is calling on all children aged between 7 and 12 years who fancy showcasing their talent to come along and audition for the show.

The auditions will take place on Saturday, September 5th, from 12 noon to 2pm at St Mary’s Hall, Buncrana.

It is a great opportunity for local youngsters who enjoy acting, singing, performing or simply being part of a fun theatrical production to step forward and show what they can do.

The auditions form part of preparations for the Society’s 2027 pantomime, following the hugely successful production of Cinderella, which entertained audiences in January and February this year.

That production was also a landmark occasion for the Buncrana Pantomime Society as it celebrated its 50th anniversary, continuing a long-running tradition of bringing pantomime magic to the town.

Now, with Robinson Crusoe set to take audiences on a new adventure, the Society is keen to give its younger performers the chance to become part of the cast.

The message from the organisers is simple: come along, showcase your talent and have some fun.

So, if your child is aged 7 to 12 and has ever fancied taking to the stage, Saturday, September 5th could be the perfect opportunity to get involved.

The Buncrana Pantomime Society says it is looking forward to seeing plenty of young faces at St Mary’s Hall as the next chapter in the town’s much-loved panto tradition begins to take shape.
