The incident of criminal damage occurred at Marion Park, Buncrana

Gardaí in Buncrana are seeking witnesses after the front window of a house was smashed by a young male who then fled the scene.

The incident took place at Marion Park, Buncrana, on Saturday, September 23, shortly before 9pm. A resident of a house in that area was upstairs watching the television, when they heard a smash. The front window of the house had been broken and a young male who was described as being tall, wearing a black baseball cap and blue jeans fled the scene.

“We appeal to anybody who travelled in that area around that time and who has a dash cam to make the footage available to us,” said a Garda spokesperson. “If anybody seen the male described in the area please make contact also. If anybody can assist with this investigation in any way we ask them to contact Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.” Gardaí in Buncrana are seeking witnesses after the front window of a home was smashed by a young male who then fled the scene.
