AJ Doyle died on Easter Sunday in Perth

A young Buncrana man has died in a motorcycle collision in Australia.

AJ Doyle died in Perth on Easter Sunday when the Honda motorcycle he was riding left the road and struck a wall. Police in Perth are investigating the collision.

Friends of the 30-year-old, who was living and working in Perth, have established a GoFundMe campaign to contribute to the cost of bringing his remains home with the help of The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust. The campaign has raised more than $113,000 (€68,000).

A memorial service in his honour is to take place in Perth this Sunday at Roe Gardens, Kings Park at 5pm.
