Fully funded springboard university courses  available through Inishowen Innovation

Inishowen Innovation  in collaboration with the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) have announced that the local community now have the opportunity to enrol in fully funded 60-credit Springboard funded certificate programmes through their local hub. These programmes provide flexible learning options designed to enhance skills and employability in key industries.

The available programmes are:

  1. Certificate in Human Resources Management (Level 6 NFQ)
    • Focus: Human Resource roles in various business settings.
    • Modules include the Role of HRM in Organisations, Resourcing Talent, Performance and Reward Management, and more.
  2. Certificate in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Level 6 NFQ)
    • Focus: Logistics and supply chain management in national and international markets.
    • Modules include Purchasing and Procurement, Operations and Logistics, Contract Law, and more.
  3. Certificate in Operations, Quality and Lean Management (Level 6 NFQ)
    • Focus: Quality operations in manufacturing and service sectors.
    • Modules include Business Management, Quality Management, Lean Management, and more.

These programmes are fully funded under the Springboard+ initiative, making them accessible to eligible applicants at no cost via the Inishowen Innovation. The programmes aim to reskill or upskill participants, making them competitive for roles in their chosen fields. The courses are delivered through in-person sessions at TUS Learning Gates nationwide, with recorded lectures providing a truly flexible learning environment.

Applicants are required to notify their local hub before submitting an application form indicating it as their preferred hub for study. Spaces are limited, and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Closing date for registering interest is Friday 16th August 2024.
