A Night With The Stars sold out every night when it took to the stage earlier this year
After a triumphant run earlier this year, Inish Theatre Group has announced the return of A Night With The Stars.
Back by popular demand, the new production will feature a brand new lineup of musical hits and iconic performances for audiences of all ages.
Adrian McMyler, the PRO of Inish Theatre Group, said the show is returning after selling out every night last time.
“The response was overwhelming, and we couldn't be more excited to bring this event back to the community,” he said.
The show’s director, Maureen Loughrey Tolley said: “The cast was outstanding last year, and the production was class. We brought different sketches from beloved musicals to life and acted out some of the most famous superstars. This year, we're doing it again but with new musicals and acts that will keep the audience on the edge of their seats.”
This year’s performance will feature renditions from popular musicals such as Hairspray, The Wizard of Oz and Oliver.
Audiences can also look forward to special acts inspired by contemporary stars like The Tumbling Paddies and Taylor Swift, among many others.
Elaina McGinley, chairperson of the Theatre Group, extended heartfelt thanks to the public, the committee, and the cast for their unwavering support and trust. “We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us, especially the local businesses that have stood by us all year. Your continued support makes everything we do possible."
Auditions for A Night With The Stars will be held on August 31 at St Mary’s Hall in Buncrana. Aspiring performers are encouraged to register now through Inish Theatre Group’s social media channels to secure their chance to be part of the show.
