The gym area of the leisure was ransacked and damage was caused to a treadmill during the burglary
The gym at Buncrana Leisure Centre has been ransacked over the summer months.
Gardaí say they have recently been informed tha entry was gained to the closed Shore Front facility.
The gym area was ransacked and damage was caused to a treadmill during the burglary which is believed to have occurred between May 1 and August 27, during which time the building was not in use.
Gardaí are appealing to residents in the area to make contact with Buncrana gardaí on 074-9320540 if they remember observing any suspicious activity or people around the building over the course of the summer months.
