People can get into the halloween spirit early as the Gleneely Colts football club hosts a halloween fun day.
The day will begin with a school brae ball race, participants can purchase a ball for €5, each ball will be allocated a random number. The balls will be rolled down the school brae and the first three down will collect a prize of €1000, €500 and €250.
Following the race, there’ll be a tug of war competition in the football pitch’s car park.
There’ll also be other fun activities such as guess the weight of a pumpkin or guess the amount of sweets in the jar. Fancy dress is encouraged.
Home baking and tea and coffee will be provided on the day.
The fun day takes place on Saturday, October 26 at 3pm. For more information check out the Gleneely Colts Facebook page.
