Members of Buncrana Roads Policing Unit had a busy afternoon delivering meals to those living in areas affected by the current spell of poor weather.
"If you need our assistance in any way or if you are concerned for the welfare of someone elderly or vulnerable in your community, please give us a call," An Garda Siochana in Buncrana said.
"Some people are confined to the house due to the snow and ice and they may feel lonely or isolated as a result. Please check in on family members, neighbours or friends who live alone. A friendly chat can mean a lot.
