Photographer grabs stunner of Grianan of Aileach as you've never seen it before

Photographer Chris Gallagher captured a stunning snap of someone's artwork at Grianan of Aileach.

With the snow still lingering, there was a wintery feel in Burt and Chris, who specialises in photography in Donegal and Derry, hoisted the drone to get the perfect perspective of a shamrock he had made in the snow at the famous monument. 

"A touch of Irish magic amidst the winter wonderland at Grianan of Aileach," Chris, a native of Rosemount in Derry city, said. "Someone creatively carved the perfect shamrock into the snow. Hoping for a swift thaw at the weekend and a goodbye to this wintry pic.

"A smaller shamrock had already been created before my arrival. I simply enlarged it using my feet and hands and launched my drone overhead and used the screen for perfect aerial perspective before capturing the photo."
