Animals in Need is appealing for help to deal with colonies of sick cats.

The animal charity is requesting volunteers to help gather the cats and transport them to the vet. The first colony identified is located in Letterkenny. There is already someone to help set traps in the evening, but transport is required. This will be weekdays in the morning, usually before 10am, with collections before closing at 6pm.

“If we could get a couple of people to help, one for morning trips and another for evening trips would be ideal,” Animals in Need appealed. “Is anyone local willing to help with this, please? Be part of the solution, not the problem.
