A new bilingual sign has been unveiled at the Jim Lynch Community Building at Letterkenny Community Centre.

The grand opening of the Jim Lynch Community Building will take place on Thursday, September 25, at 6pm. It will be opened by the Minister for Social Protection and Minister for Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht, Dara Calleary.

“Letterkenny Community Centre CLG are delighted with our new bilingual sign on the Jim Lynch Building which was put up yesterday by CBM Signs,” shared Letterkenny Community Centre. “We received an allocation of €1,192 from Foras na Gaeilge Business Support Scheme.

“We are very grateful to Foras na Gaeilge and to Líonra Leitir Ceanainn for their support and guidance as we increase the visibility of Irish in our community. Thank you to everyone who helped.”

The grand opening will honour the legacy of the late Jim Lynch and mark the unveiling of a vibrant hub designed to serve as a gathering place for generations to come.

“Tá Ionad Pobail Leitir Ceanainn CLG thar a bheith sásta lenár gcomhartha dátheangach nua ar Fhoirgneamh Jim Lynch a chuir CBM Signs suas inné. Fuaireamar leithdháileadh €1,192 ó Scéim Tacaíochta Gnó Fhoras na Gaeilge.

“Táimid an-bhuíoch d'Fhoras na Gaeilge agus de Líonra Leitir Ceanainn as a dtacaíocht agus a dtreoir agus muid ag méadú infheictheachta na Gaeilge inár bpobal.

“Go raibh maith agaibh go léir a chabhraigh.”
