The Letterkenny theatre is expected to reopen in late January
An Grianan Theatre in Letterkenny is to close for eight weeks for renovations.
They will be closing the building to the public from Monday, December 7 until the end of January. Staff will be available by email and phone during this time except for our Christmas holidays which will be from Friday, December 19. to Sunday, January 4, inclusive.

“We are embarking on a very exciting renovation and development project that will enhance the theatre’s facilities for artists, audiences, and the wider community,” a spokesperson said. “We are creating a new studio space in the upper foyer that will be used for performances, workshops, rehearsals and much more. We are also creating a new more user friendly box office. You can find out more about the building work here.
“You can book by phone on 074 912 0777 during our normal opening hours which are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm. Regretfully there will be no in person booking as the building will be inaccessible to the public until the end of January. Online booking will be available 24/7.”
