Superintendent Siobhan Mollohan has been promoted from detective inspector
A new superintendent has been appointed to Letterkenny Garda station.
Siobhan Mollohan has been promoted to the position of superintendent with responsibility for the Donegal North Community Engagement Functional Area, Donegal Garda Division.
Superintendent Mollohan, who takes up the position from today, has been promoted from detective inspector, attached to the Divisional Protective Services Unit.

Letterkenny Garda station has been without a superintendent since the appointment of Goretti Sheridan to the position of chief superintendent for Donegal in February 2024.
Also in the latest announcement of An Garda Síochána appointments and allocations, Detective Superintendent Shane Cummins has been appointed to North Western Region HQ as Regional Detective Superintendent, North Western Region.
