Originally from Rockhill Aidan moved to Donegal Town and was a member of Letterkenny Athletic Club and St Eunan’s GAA Club
The Black and Amber four-mile run, honouring the memory of the late Aidan McGlynn, is scheduled to take place for a second year.
Originally from Rockhill, Aidan moved to Donegal Town. He was a member of Letterkenny Athletic Club and a backroom team member of St Eunan’s GAA Club. The clubs are jointly hosting the memorial event honouring Aidan, who died on September 5, 2024, after being diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease in 2023.

The run will take place on Sunday, March 1, at 10am in Letterkenny. Further details on the Black & Amber 4 Mile will be announced in due course, but organisers promise a ‘fast, flat course,’ and the run will be chip-timed.

“We can’t wait to do it all again!” St Eunan’s GAA shared. “After the fantastic success of last year, we’re looking forward to another great day with runners, supporters and the whole community coming together for a brilliant event.”
