Man hospitalised following late-night assault by stranger in Milford

A man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital following a late-night assault in Milford.
The incident occurred on Church Road at approximately 1:05am on Sunday, May 10. A man was assaulted by another man who was not known to him. The injured man attended Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
“If anyone witnessed the incident or if they have any relevant information, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060,” Garda Sarah McDermott said, “As always, we are appealing for dash-cam footage from the area also.”
