Man and woman flee after hit and run on Letterkenny's outskirts

Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision involving two cars that occurred on the N13 at Trimragh, Letterkenny - approximately halfway in on the inbound dual carriageway - on Tuesday, April 18, at approximately 9pm.

The collision occurred between a grey Vauxhall Corsa and a blue BMW. Both cars were travelling in the direction of Letterkenny at the time of the collision. The driver and passenger of the BMW, a man and a woman did not remain at the scene. They left the scene on foot in the direction of the Manorcunningham roundabout.

"We appeal to road users who may have observed this man and woman on foot or who may have captured them on dash cam footage to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100," a Garda spokesperson said.
