Mica redress campaigner Paddy Diver has called on the people of Donegal to make their feelings known and heard at a protest in Letterkenny tonight.

According to Diver, follow campaigner Tomas Devine has organised the protest from 7:30pm ahead of a Letterkenny Community Update by Fianna Fáil, which is due to start at 8pm, with Minister Charlie McConalogue, the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Marine, in attendance alongside Senator Niall Blaney and councillors Ciaran Brogan, Donal 'Mandy' Kelly and Donal Coyle.

"Tonight at the Community Centre in Letterkenny, 7:30pm, let's help Thomas Devine, who has organised a last minute protest at the Fianna Fail meeting with Minister McConalogue and Senator Blaney G'luck, Diver tweeted.

"I know it's late notice folks but Thomas is organising a protest this evening at the community centre in Letterkenny, where Charlie McConalogue and Niall Blaney will be in attendance. It's time to start demanding action from Darragh O'Brien TD [Minister for Housing, Local Government & Heritage]. Be there for 7:30pm."
