Connor McGinley was named locally as the victim of this morning's fatal road traffic accident
A teenager killed in a single-vehicle crash in Kerrykeel has been named locally as Connor McGinley from Milford.
The single-vehicle collision occurred shortly after 3.30am when a car collided with a pole on the roadside. Mr McGinley was the male driver of the car, aged 19 years, was fatally injured during the collision.
A passenger who was travelling in the same vehicle is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Mr McGinley's body was removed to the mortuary at Letterkenny University Hospital earlier on Saturday. The R246 Milford Kerrykeel Road reopened to all traffic in late afternoon.
