The injured man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment
Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault by a group of males that left a man hospitalised.
The incident occurred on Port Road, Letterkenny, at approximately 3:10am on Tuesday morning. An injured man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained, none of which are believed to be life-threatening in nature.
“We appeal to anybody who travelled in the Port Road area in the early hours of this morning and who had a dash cam to make contact with us. Should anybody have witnessed the incident we ask them to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” a representative from an Garda Síochána has said.
