Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred on Tuesday morning at a business premises on Pearse Road, Letterkenny. The alarm was activated and Gardaí were alerted to the fact that a burglary was in progress shortly before 6:20 am. Gardaí immediately attended the scene but nobody was present. The glass in the front door of the premises had been smashed to gain entry and some damage had been caused within.
The investigation is at an early stage and gardaí are establishing whether or not anything was stolen during the burglary. We are appealing to anybody who was around Pearse Road or surrounding areas on November 7 between 5:45 am and 6:45 am and who had a dash cam to make the footage available to us. The premises in question is situated on Pearse Road near the entrance to Oliver Plunkett Road.
