Pulse Letterkenny have hit back at “fake” social media postings claiming they are about to close - saying they very much remain open.
Management and staff from the Port Road venue released a statement on Saturday afternoon to say they have bookings for the festive period in place and have plans afoot for 2024.
“Hi Folks, there is fake social media doing the rounds stating that Pulse Venue is closing down after Christmas,” they posted. “THIS IS NOT TRUE. We have been here since August 1989 starting as Nero's Niteclub. Then Pulse Venue Came along In 1996 and has been here since and we intend to be here for many years to come.
“We have a massive line-up for this December kicking off tonight with the Whistlin Donkeys right through to January 1, 2024. Plans for 2024 - We have bookings taken right up to New Year's Eve, December 31. We have a major festival planned for summer 2024.”
