The presentation to the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital
The cheque presentation by the organisers of the Wakin' Ted event to the Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital, which took place last month in the Clanree Hotel - a celebration of the life of the late Ted Ponsonby - has taken place.
Ted's brother Don Ponsonby, Paddy Casey and Liam Bradley represented the event organisers, Jimmy Stafford and Paul McDevitt from Highland Radio, and Peter Cutliffe, Paddy Rooney, Allen McCrea and Ivan Fuery from the Friends of LUH.
The Friends of LUH have benefitted to the value of €6,415 and wish to express their gratitude to the Ponsonby family, to the organisers, Highland Radio and the Clanree Hotel for hosting the event and for choosing the Friends of LUH as the nominated charity.
