Garai confirm person taken to hospital after Letterkenny accident was a young male

Gardaí have confirmed a young man was taken to hospital following a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on Ramelton Road, Letterkenny on Monday

The collision occurred at approximately 6.55pm. The vehicle was travelling from the Polestar roundabout towards the Ballyraine roundabout when the collision occurred. All parties involved were at the scene upon the arrival of Gardaí. The young male pedestrian was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for medical treatment for injuries sustained.

“We appeal to any road users who may have witnessed the collision or who think that they may have captured the collision on their dash cam footage to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” they said.
