Coole Cranford Community Centre is organising a fundraiser to ensure they can draw down a grant of €300,000.

The Community Centre has secured a Pobal grant of over €300,000 for the refurbishment and extension of the existing community centre which will give the community a brand new function room, meeting room, kitchen area, fully accessible toilets, baby changing facilities and new changing rooms with showers.

These changes will benefit everybody in the Coole Cranford and surrounding areas. To fully draw down the funds they must fundraise a percentage of the grant and this means we must raise €30,000 over the next six months.

“We're thrilled to announce the start of our renovation project and the launch of our GoFundMe campaign, aimed at bringing our beloved Community Centre into a bright new era!,” they posted.

“The renovations will renovate and revitalise our space, we're calling on you – our amazing community – to help us make this dream a reality.

“With each contribution, we're on our way to developing  new multifunctional spaces, including modern changing facilities, a kitchen, and accessible restrooms. Your support is crucial in transforming our centre into a vibrant hub for sports, creative workshops, gatherings, celebrations, and educational classes.

“We are reaching out to all the households in our area as well as those around the world who would like to see the area flourish to make a contribution to ensure the completion of this renovation so we can all enjoy a warm, safe and modern facility.

“Once completion of our works, we will ensure that every person that contributed in any small way will have their name placed upon our donor wall in our new centre as a thank you for helping us get this project over the line and ensure the next generations will enjoy the space.”
