Call of the Wild, an outdoor sporting store, will open a premises in Letterkenny this summer.
Established in 1996 and located at Castle Street, Sligo, Call of the Wild specialises in wetsuits, hiking and camping furniture for the great outdoors and at their new location, on Letterkenny's Upper Main Street, have placed a sign to say they are hiring.
"We have our roots in the outdoors and our community," they said. "We take pride in the quality of service and the products we offer. Throughout our team, we’ve probably tried everything (and plenty of dreams to do more) and at least one of us will be able to give you advice based on experience. Selling outdoor gear is not like selling fast fashion or fast food, we believe it should be done by people who share an affinity with the outdoors and your interests
"Call of the Wild will be opening this summer in Letterkenny. We would like to thank everyone for the hugely positive response to last week's announcement and for giving us some ideas of where you would like to see us in the future."
Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter, who have been regenerating the historical Church Lane street and surrounding areas, has welcomed the announcement.
"Further evidence of economic confidence returning to the locality as Call of the Wild is opening up in a retail unit on Upper Main Street," they posted.
