Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter is delighted to announce the launch of its 10th anniversary commemorative booklet as part of its Heritage Week activities.

The commemorative booklet will be launched by Mr Eddie McKeever, Managing Director of the McKeever Hotel Group in Dillons Hotel on Friday, August 23, at 8pm.

Committee Member Martin Gallagher put the booklet together with finishing touches added by chair Sean Purser from Wild Atlantic Productions and Digital Content Marketing.

The booklet is both a celebration and reflection of the Cathedral Quarter's achievements throughout the past decade. It promises to be a very special evening with music being provided by Evelyn Gallagher and Maria McCormick. The event is free and all are welcome.

Heritage Week is the most important week in the Cathedral Quarter calendar and there are other events planned besides the launch of the commemorative booklet.

The first event is the Cathedral Quarter Jaunt, starting outside the mosaic on Monday, August 19, at 8pm. Learn about the past, present, and future of the area as we dander up Church Lane, stopping off at Conwal Parish Church and St. Eunan’s Cathedral before wandering down Castle Street, finishing at the bottom of the Market Square. Admission is €5 with under-16s going free.

And on Wednesday, August 21, there is an Open Day at the Cathedral Quarter Office at No. 3 Church Lane. The Open Day is from 10am to 5pm where you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the Cathedral Quarter Project. The event is free.
