John F Loughrey & Associates Ltd celebrates 40 years

John F Loughrey & Associates Ltd was established in 1984 and is situated in the heart of Letterkenny, in the prominent Crossview House building in Letterkenny. 

Their clients benefit from 40 years of experience in providing expert advice on a range of services including pensions, investments, savings,  deposits and protection products.

Founded by John Loughrey, this family-run firm is built on strong ideals of honesty, integrity and hard work. The team is made up of highly qualified and strongly motivated individuals who always give their very best, whether it is in working hard for a client or helping out a colleague.  

John Loughrey was invited to attend the Million Dollar Round Table (an exclusive gathering within the Financial Services industry) in Dallas Texas in 1983. Having worked in mainstream financial services for the previous 10 years, he came home from that meeting with the view that life assurance, pensions and investments can make a difference. He understood they could change people’s lives, and to him that mattered. It was based on this principle that in 1984 John founded what is now called John F Loughrey Financial Services.

After graduating from Smurfit Business School John’s daughter Lisa joined the company in 2004, ensuring continuity, stability and a solid outlook for the future of John F Loughrey Financial Services. Lisa now manages the company and will be bringing it to new levels in the months and years ahead.

John and Lisa have instilled their own values in each member of staff, ensuring they place as much of an emphasis on customer care, industry knowledge and professionalism as they do. The company sees it as a credit that many of its team have worked their way up through the company and are long-standing employees. John F Loughrey Financial Services has grown into the largest firm of financial advisors in the North West and indeed has won awards for being the Best Broker in Connaught and Ulster on numerous occasions.
